bod glove for BB
User: Harvey Halperin, Jun 16, 2010
Pros: great protection convienance solid quality
Cons: protective plastic shied for screen
Satisfied customer
Ive been using this product for about 6 months. Its not perfect, but I feel that it works as designed. Fits fine. Good protection for the corners and back of the phone without adding too much bulk. No screen protection, but thats not exactly a secret. I use an Invisible Shield in conjunction with the Body Glove and its been great. Just wanted to counter some of the more negative reviews, maybe those expectations were a bit high.

Clip does not fit over belt

Not a bad cover but the clip does not securely fit on my belts. And that means the entire covering and phone is subject to fall off the belt. Not good.
It is a great case, for about a month..

My phone is pretty much my central source of everything with all the social networking apps and personal email, and I use it as my mp3 player since my ipod took a nasty dip in the pool.. With my daily commute to work through NYC I needed a case that would be rugged and reliable. This case did the job.. for about a month. I noticed that the front half of the case was very thin and I felt it would sooner or later break, and I was right. About a week after purchase, I noticed the thin plastic was cracked, and about 2 weeks after that, it completely broke in half. The holster is durable and tough, its just the front half of the 2 piece casing that turned me off..
Body Glove comes up way short . . .
This one... well to say it comes up short is giving it WAY to much credit. Here are the reasons why (and this is only after having the cover 5 minutes):
A) It doesnt really "fit" as well as the previous one. It took a lot of work pulling, pushing, and twisting to get all the fastening points to snap into place.
B) Even fully snapped its not a good fit. Bulging in places (like it for a slightly smaller bodied phone?) as if its about to snap open at any moment.
C) No screen protection? What... did someone just forget that aspect of the last one? Thats WHY I got the case in the first place. All the "Touch-Screen" guys were jealous because my screen was like-new after 2 years of hard WORK use and some personally abuse. Their only options are the thin "film" screen protectors. Not ideal by any means and not what I want to use to protect my NON-touch screen BlackBerry.
So what happened Body Glove? Did the economy slumping cause you to want to save on the silicone THAT much so that youd offer such a lousy and inferior product? I can tell you this much.... this unit is going BACK to the retailer TODAY and Ill be ordering something from another company and leaving Body Glove out of my list of suggested companies until they can prove themselves worthy of a suggestion. I’d be embarrassed to even HINT to someone to use this product.
Body Glove . . . you’ve let me down!
